Privacy Policy

TypeTab is built privacy-first. This policy explains the (small) amount of data we handle and the (large) amount we never touch.

The app: nothing leaves your Mac

Every prediction TypeTab makes runs entirely on your Mac, on Apple Silicon. The text you type, the apps you type in, your documents, and your messages are never uploaded to us or anyone else, and are never used to train any model. The app works fully offline. We do not have an account system, so we do not know who you are.

The website

This website uses privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic (for example, how many people visit the pricing page). We do not sell your data. If you buy a license, our payment processor (Stripe) handles your payment details — we never see your full card number.

Purchases and licenses

When you buy TypeTab, we store your email address and license key so we can deliver the key, support you, and honor activations on up to three Macs. We use Stripe for payments and Resend to email your license key. That is the extent of the personal data we keep.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete your purchase record at any time by emailing hello@typetab.app. Because the app keeps no account, uninstalling it removes all of its local data from your Mac.
